Front & Rear Load Dumpsters are typically used for commercial (non-residential) business collection services. Dumpster size options are 2, 3, 4, 6, and 8 cubic yards. Some states, counties, and cities have dumpster size restrictions. Our team of professionals can guide you on the best option for your business operation and location.
Rolloff/Open Top Dumpsters are used for construction jobs, home cleanup projects, and in industrial & manufacturing business locations. These containers have an open top for easy disposable access. Common dumpster size options are 10, 20, 30, and 40 cubic yards.
Carts/Totes are used for residential collection services. In addition, these receptacles are commonly used to service HOAs and private homes. Common cart size options are 35 gallons, 64 gallons, and 96 gallons.
Compaction equipment offers many benefits to a business. A compactor is used for businesses that produce a high volume of waste material. Compactors & balers can reduce your recycling & waste collection cost over time. Compressing waste into a confined container or bale will reduce the number of hauls needed.
With the right container quantity and size in place, the average business receives a waste collection service pickup frequency of 1 time per week. We offer flexible scheduling up to 5 times per week to allow customers to adjust service as needed. We make it easy for our customers to increase & decrease service to align with their business needs. Speak to a USA Environmental Services representative today and ask for a free waste assessment. After the assessment, our professional team will present you with a comprehensive recycling & waste program to meet your specific needs.
A roll-off dumpster is a large industrial-sized container that is used for clean-out projects, demolition jobs, renovations, remodels, and new builds. This large steel container has an open top for easy filling access.
A compactor is an industrial machine that is used to compress waste or recycle material in a confined container. A standard compactor offers a 3:1 compression ratio. This type of waste handling equipment provides many benefits, including savings on transportation costs, labor savings, reducing rodent and insect issues, reducing fire hazards, control of odor, and much more.

Some differences between these two container types are the collection vehicle used to pick it up, how it's picked up, and the container shape.
A front-load container is picked up with a front-load garbage truck. Front-load dumpsters have steel slots on both sides of the container. Front-load collection vehicles use forks to insert into these dumpster slots to lift & dispose of the waste at the top of the truck where the hopper is located.
A rear-load container is picked up with a rear-load garbage truck. Rear-load dumpsters use a cable & latch system to connect to the rear of the truck. Once secured, the dumpster is tipped into the rear hopper of the truck.
Generally, front-load and rear-load dumpsters have the same waste volume capacity. Front-load dumpsters are more common for business use. Rear-load dumpsters are great for locations with tight spaces. Rear-load dumpster service is common in densely populated cities.
